mkpasswd Testing

This current copy of mkpasswd needs to be tested on the major platforms
that are currently in use today.

Testing done:
FreeBSD stable (4.x)
Redhat Linux
Slackware Linux
Solaris 8
Cygwin 1.13+
NetBSD 1.6

Testing needs to be done:
FreeBSD current (5.x)
OpenBSD
Debian Linux
Mac OS-X

Testing instructions:

In order to quickly and easily test various items, please use the following
